The Stampede is a student‑run online newspaper at Debbie Smith CTE Academy, dedicated to giving students a voice and showcasing the vibrant stories within our school community. Through articles, interviews, opinion pieces, and multimedia features, The Stampede highlights student achievements, campus events, and the issues that matter most to our Mavericks. Driven by curiosity and creativity, our student journalists work to inform, inspire, and connect readers across the DSCTE campus.

The mission of The Stampede is to empower student journalists to investigate, create, and share stories that reflect the diverse voices and experiences of Debbie Smith CTE Academy.
